Qrexium helps you generate, store, organize, and scan QR codes and barcodes using your device camera. Keep codes ready for quick access at checkout and share them easily with others.

Creating Codes

You can create a new code in two ways:

• By content type — fill in structured fields (for example URL, contact, or Wi‑Fi). The app builds a valid QR payload for you.
• By code type — choose a format (QR or a supported linear barcode) and enter the raw value yourself.

Supported Scan Content

Qrexium can recognize and process many kinds of information encoded in QR codes and barcodes, including:

• Website URLs
• Plain text
• Contact cards (vCard)
• Calendar events (iCalendar)
• Phone numbers
• Email addresses
• SMS messages
• Wi‑Fi network configuration
• Geographic coordinates and map locations
• Payment-related payloads (for example UPI, bank QR standards, cryptocurrency addresses, regional wallets)

Depending on the scanned content, Qrexium may offer quick actions such as opening a website, saving a contact, adding a calendar event, or connecting to a network.

Supported Payment Types

Qrexium supports scanning and generating payment QR payloads for the payment categories below. If your installed banking/wallet app recognizes the payload, it will open a pre-filled payment screen.

1) UPI QR (India)

• UPI payment links/payloads (for example UPI ID + payee name + optional amount/reference)
• Merchant and personal UPI QR variants recognized by UPI-enabled apps

2) Bank Transfer QR Standards

• Regional bank transfer QR payloads that encode account/recipient/payment reference fields
• Static and dynamic transfer QR variants, depending on local banking implementations

3) EMVCo Merchant Payment QR

• Merchant-presented QR payload structures based on EMVCo-style data objects
• Used by many acquirers, PSPs, and national QR programs built on EMV-compatible specifications

4) Card-Linked Payment QR

• Card-initiated/card-linked QR payloads where the processor app supports this flow
• Support depends on issuer/acquirer app capabilities and region availability

5) Digital Wallet Payment Links

• Wallet deep links and wallet-formatted QR payment payloads
• Works with compatible regional wallet applications installed on the device

6) Cryptocurrency Payment Requests

• Crypto address/payment URI payloads used by wallet apps
• Typically includes recipient address, and may include amount, label, or memo depending on the chain/wallet

7) Generic Payment URLs

• Hosted checkout/payment links (HTTPS) from banks, PSPs, or merchant gateways
• The link opens in a browser or target app for payment completion

Important: Qrexium does not process or settle payments directly. It decodes/encodes QR content and then passes you to your selected bank, PSP, wallet, or crypto app for authorization and completion.

Final availability depends on your country, payment provider, installed app, and the exact QR payload format.

How can I add a code?
You can add a code in three ways: create it manually, scan it from an image, or scan it using your device camera.

Where is my data stored?
Generated and scanned codes are securely stored in your account using cloud storage (Firebase Firestore) and are accessible only after login. Data is transmitted and stored using industry-standard security measures.

To request account deletion or data removal, either email support at qrexium@gmail.com or submit the request through the app.
